Our Favorites at Splash Island

My daughter loves the toddler area, there are enough activities in there to keep her busy all day. The small turtle water slide is one of her favorites, along with the interactive water “dams” where she can figure out exactly how she can get the water to overflow in all directions!

My son loves the otter slides and the swimming pool. The otter slides are great if you have multiple children because they can hold hands and go down at the same time, it makes for a sweet sibling photo op too!

Note: While both of my children are too small for the body flume slide, it doesn’t put a damper on the day.

Cool Stuff to Play On at Splash Island

Here’s what little water explorers can enjoy:

  • Lounge chairs, lifeguards everywhere so grown-ups can relax
  • Big 200-foot “body flume” slide (must be at least 48″ tall)
  • Smaller 16-foot “otter” slide (min. 30″ tall)
  • Spray zones with fountains, geysers & “raindrop” waterfalls
  • Activity pool with shallow play areas

There are also lockers, restrooms, shower/changing spots, and a party area for birthdays!

Snack Bar & Treats

Need a break from splashing? The park’s snack bar offers kids’ meal combos—including a Capri Sun and a choice of side—plus lots of snacks and ice cream to cool off.

While we have seen people bring in coolers, it is discouraged, and stated on their website that outside food is not allowed. And that’s ok, because my kids love the chicken fingers, fries, and the corn dog option with cold watermelon slices.
