Aquarium Aglow at SC Aquarium- Holiday Lights Indoors
Another fun and festive outing is Aquarium Aglow at the South Carolina Aquarium. The entire aquarium is transformed into a holiday light spectacular on select evenings from November 21 through December 30, 2025. Where to See FREE Holiday Lights in Charleston
Marion Square
If you’re hoping for something free, check out Marion Square in downtown Charleston. The city’s official holiday tree lighting happens there, and it stays lit through December. You just pull up, tune your radio to the posted station, and watch the magic. It’s located in the Reminisce neighborhood off Orangeburg Road. Lights usually run nightly from Thanksgiving through New Year’s Eve, with peak displays between 6 pm and 10 pm.
