Nighttime at the Museum: Halloween Edition
- Date & Time: Friday, October 23, 2026, from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm
- Location: The Charleston Museum
- Details: Kick off Halloween celebrations in costume while exploring the museum with crafts, a spooky scavenger hunt, and trick-or-treating. Admission is typically $5 to $15 and free for adult members.

Charleston Friends of the Library Trick-or-Treat Event
- Date & Time: Late October 2026 (Expected Saturday, October 24, 2026, based on the annual schedule)
- Location: Friends Bookstore at Citadel Mall
- Details: Free books for kids visiting in costume during the mall-wide trick-or-treating event.
15th Annual Moncks Corner Halloween Festival
Details: Free admission featuring Trunk-or-Treat, a haunted house, games, a costume contest, food, and family entertainment.

Ghostly Tide Tales (Isle of Palms)
- Date & Time: Friday, October 16, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm
- Location: Front Beach (Access path beside the Sea Cabins), Isle of Palms, SC
- Details: Free event featuring spooky stories told around campfire barrels on the beach.
- Ghostly Tide Tales Website
Hanahan Fire Department Haunted Firehouse
- Date & Time: Expected Friday, October 16 & Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm (Follows the mid-October Friday/Saturday schedule)
- Location: 5826 Campbell Street, Hanahan, SC
- Details: Walk-through haunted firehouse, haunted fire truck trail ride, food, and activities. Proceeds support the Hanahan Fire Department One Percent Fund.

Spooky Ghost Tours By Boat

Bulldog Tours offers USS Yorktown Ghost Tours. You’ll be able to visit areas of the USS Yorktown after dark that are normally closed to the public, learn about the haunting stories of sailors on the ship, and even visit the flight deck in the dark.
Walking Charleston Ghost Tours
Want to experience a ghost tour by foot? You have several options in Charleston.
- Bulldog Tours offers quite a few Ghost Tours in Charleston. There are some that tour cemeteries, a haunted jail, and lots more. Check them out: Bulldog Tours Ghost Tours
- Old Charleston Walking Tours offers the Pleasing Terrors Ghost Tour. It’s a popular 90 minute tour that starts in Washington Square Park. Tours are led by Mike Brown of the Pleasing Terror Podcast.
- Ghost City Tours offers a kid-friendly ghost tour option: The Ghosts of Liberty. As the name might imply, these ghosts have give their lives for freedom and America.
Ghost Tours by Carriage
Old South Carriage Co. offers a Haunted Carriage Tour that allows you to learn all about ghosts, pirates, and patriots in Charleston’s past. Visit graveyards, alleyways, churches, hotels, and many landmarks with a storied, ghost-filled history.
Free Spooky Halloween Displays
Check out Bloodgood Graveyard, Raritan Road, Goose Creek, SC. Follow them on Facebook for updates about when their display is ready for viewing!
