Pizza so good, we forgot to take a picture first!

EVO Pizzeria in North Charleston is family-friendly and nearby Park Circle Playground

Have you ever heard of a place where big, cheesy pizzas and warm, fresh-baked goodies live next door to each other? That’s exactly what you’ll find at EVO Pizzeria and its cozy bakery in the Park Circle neighborhood of North Charleston, South Carolina! These two spots are like a food adventure just waiting for your taste buds.

The Perfect Family Evening

One of our favorite evenings is heading to the Park Circle Playground and letting the kids run around until dinner. Then we walk over to EVO — it’s just a short stroll from the park, which makes it such an easy, family-friendly plan.

What’s EVO Pizzeria All About?

At EVO Pizzeria, pizzas are made in a special wood-fired oven — that means the crust gets nice and crispy with a little smoky flavor. The chefs use fresh ingredients and fun combinations of toppings, so you can try yummy pizzas with things like cheese, basil, mushrooms, or even pistachio pesto!

What to Order at EVO Pizza

We love this place because the ingredients are always fresh and local, and the breads are all made in-house. The guys always order the Pork Trifecta, which has sausage, pepperoni, and bacon all mixed under two layers of cheese. My daughter and I order the Margherita pizza, and we all share one of their delicious salads.

The salads always have a variety of lettuce and locally grown vegetables with homemade vinaigrettes that are unmatched.

Just Behind the Pizza Place… a Sweet Surprise!

Right behind the pizzeria is EVO Craft Bakery — a warm and cozy bakery full of breads, pastries, coffee (for grown-ups), and tasty treats you can enjoy with friends.

Kids love going in and seeing the golden croissants, sweet cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, muffins, and cookies. On weekends, they even bake special cinnamon rolls that smell amazing. My kids always choose the cookies (which are incredible). It’s hard for me to pick a favorite because every item I’ve had somehow becomes “the new favorite.”

Some of the bakery favorites you might find include:

  • Soft and flaky croissants
  • Sweet cookies and brownies
  • Warm muffins
  • Delicious danishes
  • Fresh-baked breads

You can sit outside on a nice day and enjoy your treat in the sun — perfect for a relaxed family outing in Park Circle.

Pizza and Pastries — A Perfect Pair!

Park Circle

Imagine getting your favorite pizza at EVO Pizzeria, then walking just a few steps to the bakery for a sweet dessert, followed by the best playtime at Park Circle Playground. It’s like a three-stop dinner plan that feels easy and fun.

Whether you’re there for a slice of pizza after playground time, or stopping by the bakery for a morning treat before school or on the weekend, this pizza shop and its tucked-away bakery make eating out feel special without being complicated.

Fun Fact

EVO Craft Bakery opened to bring fresh breads and pastries to the neighborhood — and it quickly became a favorite for both locals and visitors.

Next time you’re in Park Circle, maybe you’ll plan your own pizza-and-bakery night. What would your family choose first — pizza or a cinnamon roll? Let us know!
