🥚 Easter Egg Hunts: Charleston, SC (2026)
March 21, 2026: 11 am egg drop (gates open 9:30 am)
Helicopter Egg Drop
Legare Farms – Johns Island
This unique Easter event features thousands of eggs dropped from a helicopter onto the fields at Legare Farms. After collecting eggs, children redeem them for a special gift and can visit the Easter Bunny and see farm animals. Tickets must be purchased in advance. ($15)

PEG’s Easter Egg Hunt
Waterside at the Lakes of Cane Bay – North Charleston
A lively community celebration with an egg hunt, music, crafts, chalk zone, and prizes for kids.

March 28, 2026: 10 am – 11:30 am
Easter Egg Hunt at the Dill Sanctuary
Dill Sanctuary – Charleston
Celebrate Easter surrounded by nature at the Charleston Museum’s Dill Sanctuary on James Island. Families can enjoy crafts and activities before a traditional egg hunt for multiple age groups. Reservations are required and children must be accompanied by an adult.

17th Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Magnolia Plantation & Gardens – Charleston
One of the Lowcountry’s longest-running Easter traditions. Families can enjoy age-grouped hunts, sack races, crafts, and lawn games in a beautiful historic setting. Regular garden admission applies.

Ridge Church – Summerville
Watch thousands of eggs drop from a helicopter during this high-energy Easter celebration. Families can also enjoy games, inflatables, and other activities before the egg drop begins.

Azalea Park – Summerville
Bring the kids to Azalea Park’s Children’s Discovery Garden for this free community Easter egg hunt hosted by Bethany United Methodist Church. Families can enjoy a festive afternoon hunt in one of Summerville’s most beautiful parks.

Wild Dunes Easter Egg Hunt
Sweetgrass Inn Pool – Isle of Palms
Celebrate Easter Sunday with a beachside egg hunt at Wild Dunes Resort. A festive coastal option to wrap up Easter weekend. Open to resort guests and locals.

Middleton Place Easter Eggstravaganza
Middleton Place – Charleston
One of Charleston’s most beloved Easter traditions, this family event includes age-grouped egg hunts along with egg rolling, egg tossing, egg dyeing, colonial-era games, and storytelling. Admission is included with general Middleton Place admission.

Northwoods Mall: the Easter Bunny will be on site starting March 13th, 2026 for photos. Reservations are not required but are recommended.
