We packed up the kids in the RV for a fun-filled week at Sun Outdoors, and it delivered. There was no shortage of activities, including the pools, games, and nightly events. The kids stayed busy, and the parents (us) actually got to relax.

Set in Conway, about 20 minutes from the coast, this sprawling property is designed with families in mind. It blends the charm of camping with the convenience of a resort—so you can enjoy being outside without giving up comfort.
From RV sites and tent camping to fully furnished cottages, there’s an option for every type of traveler. When we arrived, it immediately felt more like a vacation resort than a campground, especially once the kids spotted the pools and activity areas.
Where to Stay: Campsites and Cabins
Campsites
The sites are very spacious. We loved having space to spread out at the site, while still being able to walk or bike to most activities. That all made it easy with the kids.
Families bringing an RV or tent can choose from a variety of sites:

This is where our kids spent most of their time:

We bounced between the splash pad in the mornings and the lazy river in the afternoons—it made for really easy, fun-filled days.

And one of our favorite surprises—food trucks right outside the pool gates. When the kids needed a snack break, we had options like mini donuts, funnel cakes, ice cream, and fries just steps away.
It made staying in “vacation mode” so much easier.

A few things that made a big difference during our stay:
- Golf cart rentals: $65–$95/day and totally worth it since the property is large
- Cabana rentals: Great for shaded pool breaks

It quickly fell into a rhythm: mornings at the splash pad, afternoons drifting along the lazy river, and evenings filled with music, games, or relaxing back at the campsite.
