Nature Camps

Camp Cyclone offers a variety of full-day and half-day summer camps, including art, sports, music, and educational camps.

Ages: 5-17
(Camps for June-July)

This faith-based camp is an overnight camp for kids K-12th grade. They will enjoy camp games, swimming, activities, and chapel services to learn about Christ.

They offer educational kids camps where your child can rock climb, zip line, experience animal encounters, and more! This camp is for kids ages 5-12 and is a half-day camp.

Charleston County Parks offers a long list of county parks in the Charleston area, youth programs, school programs, and summer camps.

Surround yourself with nature at The Charleston Museum’s Dill Sanctuary, a 580-acre wildlife sanctuary located on James Island along the Stono River. Campers get down and dirty exploring a marsh ecosystem and tracking animals along the trail while learning about archaeology, life in a marsh, Native Americans, and animals.

Nature Trailer Summer Camps are for ages 6 – 11 and include

• admission to the Dill Sanctuary from 9 am through 12 pm.

Reservations required. Cancellations must be requested one week in advance for a refund minus $50 administration fee.
