Acro Arts Company offers acro dance classes and summer camps. Their summer camps are for kids ages 5.5-12 and tuition is $250 per week.

Ashley River Church offers a full-day music and sports camp for kids grades 1st to 6th. It is $150 per child and includes lunch and a camp performance.

This music school offers a wide variety of music lessons, birthday parties, and summer camps! Their summer camps are for kids ages 4+ and help kids learn how to play instruments, make their own beats, and more! You can choose from week-long camps, partial-week camps, and more.

Ballet Academy of Charleston offers dance classes for children and adults. You can take ballet, hip-hop, and more. They offer child and adult-level summer camps. The children’s camps are themed.

The Blair Center for The Arts is an art center where you can take classes, host your next birthday party, attend a summer camp, and more. Their summer camps are for kids ages 5+ and they offer a wide variety of themed camps all summer long.

Camp Cyclone offers a variety of full-day and half-day summer camps, including art, sports, music, and educational camps.

This faith-based camp is an overnight camp for kids K-12th grade. They will enjoy camp games, swimming, activities, and chapel services to learn about Christ.

They offer music classes for kids ages 4+. These classes can be done privately or in a group setting. Additionally, they offer summer camps for kids ages 3-7. You can choose either full-day camps or half-day.

Charleston Academy of Musical Theatre offers acting classes, intensives, and summer camps. Their camps are half-day and are for students in 2nd grade and above. You can choose from several themed camps.

They offer educational kids camps where your child can rock climb, zip line, experience animal encounters, and more! This camp is for kids ages 5-12 and is a half-day camp.

They offer a variety of animal summer camps where your child can enjoy arts and crafts, animal interactions, games, and guest speakers. Vet camp participants can watch a surgery!

These camps encourage children to learn about animals and how to take care of them.

The Charleston Aqua Park at Trophy Lakes offers tons of obstacle and ropes courses over the water for you to explore. You must be able to swim proficiently to participate. They offer tickets that are timed for an hour, special event booking, and summer camps. Their summer camps are for kids ages 6-14 and are full-day camps. You can select either a full week of camp for $399 per week or just attend for a day at $100 a day.

Charleston County Parks offers a long list of county parks in the Charleston area, youth programs, school programs, and summer camps.

Charleston Salt Marsh Adventures is a boat charter company that offers charters and kids’ summer camps. Their summer camp is for kids ages 8+ and is $450 a week.

They offer theatre summer camps all summer long for children ages 4-15. Classes range from improv to musical theatre and beyond. Half-day camp admission starts at $260 per week.

Charleston Stage offers a variety of theatrical half day and full day summer camps.

Cheer Works offers cheerleading clinics, after-school programs, camps, and more! Their summer camps will be half-day and are $250 per camper.

The Children’s Museum of the Low Country features many interactive rooms where you and your family can have fun. Admission is $15 per person and kids under 1 are free. They are open Monday through Saturday from 9 am – 10 am for museum members and 10 am – 5 pm for non-members and open on Sunday from noon to 5 pm.

They also offer a wide variety of events, programs, birthday party offerings, and summer camps.

Summer Camps: Their summer camps are for kids ages 5-7 and you can choose from a wide variety of themed camps.

The City of North Charleston offers a wide variety of programs for all ages including summer camps. The camp is for kids ages 5-12 and is $350 per camper.

They offer coastal tours, camps, after-school programs, and more! Their summer camps are for kids ages 5-14.

They offer half-day camps for kids where you can create high-quality studio crafts including ceramics, wood, and canvas items. You can attend one day of camp or a week-long camp.

CSU offers a wide variety of summer camps including Criminal justice, music, and sports camps.

Ages: 8-18

Surround yourself with nature at The Charleston Museum’s Dill Sanctuary, a 580-acre wildlife sanctuary located on James Island along the Stono River. Campers get down and dirty exploring a marsh ecosystem and tracking animals along the trail while learning about archaeology, life in a marsh, Native Americans, and animals.

This pool is a membership-only pool that even has a swim team. They offer half-day summer camps to members and non-members each summer. The cost is $175 for members and $225 for non-members. A swim test is required on the first day of camp.

Their camp teaches children how to nurture and take care of animals of all types. They will have games, arts and crafts, team building activities, and learn how animal shelters operate. This camp is for children in grades 2-12. The enrollment fee is $300 per child.
