Make, Dip & Dye for Families Workshop

Spend a hands-on morning at Magnolia Plantation & Gardens turning plain fabric into your own indigo-dyed keepsake. Using traditional dye techniques, families design and dye a cotton tote bag or pillow cover, watch the fabric transform to signature blue before their eyes, and explore the science — and the Lowcountry history — behind one of colonial South Carolina’s most powerful crops. No prior dyeing experience needed, and your ticket includes a self-guided stroll through Magnolia’s Heritage Garden and indigo maze afterward.
