1. Beardcat’s is Right by the Beach
Sullivan’s Island is only about 15 minutes from downtown Charleston, which makes Beardcat’s the perfect stop after a beach day. I love spending the day on the beach, grabbing gelato at Beardcat’s, and then heading over to Stith Park, which is just across the street, for the kids to play.

3. Beardcat’s Gelato Has Allergy-Friendly Options
Another thing I appreciate is how clearly they label allergens for each flavor. They also offer gluten-free and dairy-free options, which makes it easier for everyone to find something they can enjoy.
4. Gelato Cakes Are a Thing!
Planning a birthday or celebration? Beardcat’s also makes gelato cakes, including a gluten-free red velvet cream cheese gelato cake. That sounds like a pretty fun birthday treat!
