One of the biggest holiday events in Charleston is the Holiday Festival of Lights at James Island County Park. It runs nightly from November 14 through December 31, 2025, and it’s a favorite for good reason. You’ll drive through a 3-mile course with over 2 million lights, then park to explore more fun. There’s a walking trail, train rides, marshmallow roasting, giant sand sculptures, a gift shop, and even visits with Santa. Tickets are around $15–$45 per vehicle, and it’s best to buy them online ahead of time to avoid the line and save money.
