SUMMARY:Junior Naturalist: Animal Sleuths and Graduation
DESCRIPTION:Bring your curiosity and engage all of your senses while explor
 ing natural habitats at your county parks! Led by Charleston County Park's
  Education staff\, the multi-seasonal Junior Naturalist program series off
 ers a wide variety of fun\, educational nature-based activities focused ar
 ound a central theme. Children who attend 8 classes earn the title of a Ce
 rtified Junior Naturalist! Brush up on your investigative skills as we lea
 rn about tracks\, nests\, and other animal signs through hands-on explorat
 ion. Emphasis will be placed on animals native to Caw Caw Interpretive Cen
 ter. After the program\, celebrate this year's Junior Naturalists class in
  a graduation ceremony. All participants and family members are welcome to
  attend! Ages 8-12. One chaperone per registered child is required to atte
 nd but not required to register. Chaperones are not required to accompany 
 child during program but must stay in the park for the duration of the pro
 gram. Non-registered children may not attend this program. Attend at least
  eight programs to become a certified Junior Naturalist. Cost: $10.
